Free 30 days Visa upon arrival for all visitors

The Maldives is always ready to welcome guests. We are very visitor friendly. On arrival to Maldives you are granted for 30-day tourist visa. This assumes the possession of valid travel documents. Please not that tourist visa does not allow to bearer to any employment in the Maldives

A visitor should also posses a minimum of US$ 30 per day of stay in the Maldives . You maybe asked to produce evidence to the effect. A visitor may also be asked to produce a valid return ticket.

What to pack

Suitcase

• Get a strong suitcase with a strong lock. The Maldives does not have good thieves but the suitcase never travel Executive Class.
• Pack all items you may need en route in your hand luggage, your suitcase or hand luggage should not contain:
• Handguns, ammunition, explosives or weapons of any nature. A spear gun is considered a weapon.
• Pornography
• Narcotics or psychotropic substances (if you are on registered medication, bring your supply with a valid prescription)
• Pamphlets, Flyers, booklets or literature that promote any religion
• Alcoholic beverages (inbound passengers cannot bring in alcoholic beverages. All the resorts have a good selection of drinks available.
• Toiletries are widely available in all the resorts but you may bring anything you use which is of unconventional make or design.
• For electrical or electronic items, please note that the local electricity supply is for 220 Volts AC at 50 Hz.
